The official opening of the
newly built Bank of Montreal
Branch in. Lucknow 'took place on
Saturday'afternoon and'a crowd
estimated at close to 800 toured
the, new facilities, „signed the ,
guest book and mixed socially
over a cup of coffee and pastries
served by the Lucknow United
Church Women.
By the official opening time,
2 p.m. ,. a lineup extended down
the street from the bank entrance,
many determined to be one of the
firit 100 ladies who would receive
the Team Canada series, when the
name "Henderson" became a
household word across Canada.
The Sentinel has the rights'
to sell the book locally and,
while it is not known the exact
day that the book will arrive, it
is expected that it 'will be avail-
able by the middle of next week,
possibly sooner.
. The Sentinel received an ad-
vance copy'of the publication last
week and can assure readers that
they Will' Mid it very interesting,
sometimes a bit controversial,
but never dull.

Terrence James. O'Donnell, son
of Mrs. James O'Donnell of Lucky
now and the •late Mr. O'Donnell,
died suddenly on Tuesday even-
ing of last week, February 6th
when his ear left the road on
Ottawa Street in Kitchener and
struck a utility pole.
Terry , age 28, who was assist-
ant manager of the Fairview Plaza
Branch of the Canadian Imperial
Bank of Cornmerce in KitChen-
er, had been working late at the
bank that evening and was return-
ing-to his home at 11 Lucerne
Drive in Kitchener'. He had been
with 'he bank for seven. years.
Police who investigated the
accident said low lying fog pat-
ches must .have obscured his vis-
ion for an instant it 'took to miss
a curve and strike a utility pole.
Death was due to multiple injur-

Following Terry's transfer to the
Kitchener bank position last
spring, Mrs. O'Donnell continued
her employment with Proctor and

Dies At Age 88
Henry Gardner of Ashfield
Township died at Huronview at
Clinton on Monday of this week,
February 12. He was 88 years of
age.
The funeral will be held at the
MacKenzie Memorial Chapel in.
Lucktiow),on Thursday, Februaty.
