Mrs. Torn Pritchard'handed out packages withturnorous resolu- tions On the outside and the ladies read the resolutions and opened parcels in answer to roll call. ThiS created a good deal of laugh- ter. Mrs.. Pritchard gave a very int- eresting talk on "Beginning the New Year and attempting to live if for God: The ladies each read short thoughts on this theme and this was "followed by an approp- riate reading by Miss Ruth Thomp son "Just fix to-day". Glenn Noble whO was , appointed chairman. Tony John- stone, Church treasurer, was appointed secretary. The printed reports.from the - Session, the Board, the WMS, the C'GIT and.the Sunday School were discutsed and adopted. Retiring from-the Board of Management were, Stuart Jamieson Gordon Lyons, Les Purvis and Ron Machan. Appointed to the Board fora three• year term were Jim Morrison, Bill Searle, Bob Gil- christ and Edward Brown. There were two vacancies for a two year term and a third created by the, resignation of Frank Hawthorne • who will be, leaving the corrimun- ity. The Board was given respon- sibility for filling the 'vacancies from the following nominees: Barry McDonagh, Dan Nicholson, Don Henderson and Ron Machan. Reappointed as Trustees Were Gordon'Fither, Virden Mowbray and James R.. Henderson. Leon- ard 'MacDonald and James R. Henderson were appointed 'as aud- itors. Mrs. George McInnes and Tony Johnstone were re-appointed as' Financial Secretary and ,Church Treasurer. The Church has 210 members. 25 themhers Were removed by certificate, death and resolution of Session'. 25 members' were added by Profession of Faith and CertifiCate. $2256.09 was given to the work of The Presbyterian' Church in. She also earned her ' specialist degree in .Libraty Science, Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jannary 26th, at the Harper - Mulligan Funeral Home.
