bulk shippers in '71 was 70.4%

Group 1 farms, goes to the fluid

producers.. In '71 89.4% • of these
tests resulted in Grade 1 results,
and-in '72, 90.0% were Grade L
The general decline in product-
ion. that has taken - place in Ont-
ario' over the last few yeats has
been stopped in '72 and produe-
tion and improved quality seems
to be again on, thp increase.

The total number of milk ship-
- pers in the County. of Bruce, has
remained fairly constant over the'
last' half of 1972. 'The' establish-
ment of Market. Share: Quotas,
combined with good returns for
cream & milk production, has de-
veloped an attitude of confidence
in Dairy farming. Although there
have still 'been drop-outs, by in-
dustrial milk producers, 'their
place has pretty well been taken
up by cream producers, convert-
ing *milk •production and new
"Dairy" farmers entering the In-
dustry. During the last half of
