received $2.00.
Keen interest was shown this
year witha total of 35 entries as
compared to only 14 last year.
The two winning submissions
have been entered in the Legion
Zone C-1 competition which
includes thirteen branches.

Canada is a. beautiful country.
It is no wander that thousands of
men went to war to defend it. If
it hadn't been for these brave men
Canadians would , not be the free
people they are today.

that was purchased at so high a
price.
