HURON-BRUCE • Ontario's Welfare payments will increase next month for about half those now in the rolls. Re4/13runelle, Community .and 'Social Service Minister, indicat- ed Ontario will add $16 million to its welfare expenditures corn-: mencing January. 1st; 1973, to give blind, disabled, the•eldqrly and separated mothers with' child- ren an average 10%, increase in,their welfare payments. ' The increase will affect 3/4 of the-82,000 single people and families now .on family benefits, the welfare scheme administered by the. province.
