If it .looked as if everyone were reluctant to express an opinion on the history option problem what I thought I might do was write to Colin Croz- ier of liamilton and have him • prevail on one of his friends in the teaching profession to write about it. The reason I'm writing now is because I became disturb- ed with some of the statistics and statements that were published during the recent Federal election campaign. As ,an introduction to the bilingual problem I would like to explain that for years I have work• ed with ernployees with last names such as Desrosiers, Clout- ier, St. Jean, Hebert and Paqu- ette. All of these employees could speak, without' difficulty .iii_either French-or-English:, -I-- have a good deal of admiration for the French-Canadians for I.
