Bruce Heath, Director of Huron
County Children's Aid Society has
been appointed to a Select Com-
mittee of the Ontario Association
of Children's Aid Societies to pre-
pare a„ major presentation to the
Task Force of the Provincial
Ministry'of Community and Social
Services. •
The Ontario Task Force chaired
by H. R. Hanson is to
enquire into all matters pertain-
ing to the management of the
Ministry of Community and
Social and related matters within
Ontario, including: objectives and
goals; programs and their mode of
delivery; utilization of human re-'
sources; organizational design and
adrninisuative procedures; rela-
tionships with other ministries,
governments, organizations
and communities. •
The Task Force has been
empowered to make such
recommendations that will en-
hance the efficiency and effective ,
ness of the Ministry ,in attaining
objectives and assist in the
development of Community and
Social Services for the people of
Ontario.
The Association Select Corn-
rnittee, composed of the CAS-Dir-
ectors of Toronto, Hamilton,
Halton, Simcoe and Huron Count-
ies, Mr. H. H. Dyniond,/Execu-
tive Director of the Ontario, Ass6C-
iation, and chaired by Mrs. L. M.
Ball, a past president of the Ont-
ario Association, will examine
the role of the Children's Aid
SOciety arnd-its relationship with
° the Ministry in provision of
services to families and children.
The Committee will also exam-
ine matters related to possible
absorbing of CAS services into
provincial or municipal
government structure, the compo-
sition of CAS Boards of Directors,
capital and operation funding,
desirable changes in legislation,

The death of Mrs. John James
I .Wilson occurred at Pinecrest.
1Manoi Nursing Home, Lucknow on
[Friday; November 17th in her
88th year.
She was the forrner Harriett
Marion Armstrong, daughter of
William 'Armstrong and his wife .
Celia Wheal, ap1 was born in
,'Ashfield Townshi • on Ati St 30th,
1885. •
On September 11, ,1906 she mar-
ried John James Wilson. They 1 -,
were married at PalmerSton. Mr.,
Wilson passed away on September
27, 1925. , • ,
FOr the past three years Mrs. •
Wilson has„,,been a resident at
Pinecrest Manor. " •
She is survived- by Tone -d•ughter
and three sons Norman of Hamil-
ton, Armstrong of Lucknow; Mrs.,
James (Cella) AittliEson-of-R-.--11:-2-
Lucknow and Jack of Hamilton;
two sisters Miss Beatrice Arm- .
strong and Mrs. Ethel Buctc-bzyttr—
of London; eight grandchldren
and 'four great granddaughters.
Besides her husband she was
predeceased by two sisters and two
brothers-Mrs. Annie- Barrett , Mrs.,
Jean' Matthews, Alfred Armstrong .
and William Armstrong. ,
The funeral service 'was held
at MacKenzie Memorial Chapel,
LuCknoW on Monday, November
20. Rev. Robert Nicholls of
Lucknos,4 United Church was min-
ister.

ald, Melvin Bell, Cameron Mae-
Donald , Norman Taylor, Les
Purves, Hal* Johnstone.
' Flower bearers were six grand-
sons Jim Wilson, 'Jack Aitchiscin,

Interment was in Greenhill
