Congratulations to Mr. aiTd Mrs.
Graham Moffat of Teeswater who
were married at the Baptist
Church, Blythwood Rd., Toronto
on Saturday, December 2nd. Min-
ister was. Rev. Lorne Pierce.
Mrs, Moffat is the former Mrs.
Edith Warrener (nee Taylor) of
Shaunavon, Saskatchewan and
.originally from the Langside area.
She was raised on the Robert Stew-
art farm at Langside and both Mr.
and Mrs. Moffat attended, Lang-
side school.
Graham farmed at tangside for
many years before retling to
Teeswater.
Mrs.' George Young entertained
friends and neighbours at a
Tupperware Party, Friday
evening.

Langside C.O.C. was held Sun-
day,. The children practised
songs for their Christmas
programme.' The rest of the story
of Christmas, using the flannel-
graph was told. The meeting
closed with the Lord's. Prayer.

Describing the incident..
Spence said that the sparks flew
and later a small notch was found
burned in the top of the ladder.
Neither men felt the electrical
jolt—SPence-said_that_he_was_
wearing rubber soled shoes and
Wilfred rubber boots and that they
considered themselves very lucky.
