ported the idea of a township shed
and mentioned• that a small parcel
of land, adjacent to the township
hall, had been .'purchased from

ment .of this fund. He estimated
that the insurance costs on the
arena would be going up if rec-
ommendations were followed in

Commenting on arena -
Activity, he stated that roller

Lucknow Recreation Planning and
'Development Committee and
anart-d to the arena. Seats for
the arena are also welion the
way and 'should be installed soon.
Warren Zinn, present council-
lor and the new' Deputy-Reeve of
the township by acclamation,
spoke in support of a township
shed, even, if construction. had to

still available at a good rate of
interest. He said that council had
tendered for fuel last year and
that BP had been successful and
that Sandy Construction had been

He said that he considered the
Lucknow medical centre
project a ,good thing but that
council will have to weigh cloSely
the costs involved. .The proposed
cost ratio is Lucknow 30%; Ash-
field , West Wawanosh and Kin-
loss, 20% each and Hurdn Town-
ship 10/o. In view of the fact
'that renovations 'and construction
of the Goderich Hospital are con-
siderations of council, the'
feeling by many is that the north
end of the township Will use the
'Lucknow facility while the south
may not , and yet still have to
pay. -
. Mr. Frayne said the new town-
ship dump has not progressed as
fast as it should , and he felt it

the dump as the Ashfield
