Died, In 69th Year
JAMES EDWIN HEWITT
The death of James Edwin Hew-
itt of R. R. 2 Kincardine
(Bervie) occurred in Kincardine
Hospital on Monday, Novernber
20th following,a lengthy illness.
He was in his 69th year.
Mr. Hewitt was a farmer. He
was bdrn in Kincardine Township'
on April 5, 1904, a son of
' Samuel Hewitt and Maude Cham•
hers. On November 17, 1926 he
married Violet SChuler of Dun-
keld.
Surviving besides his wife are
three sons Edwin and Ronald both
of Kincardine Township and Wil-"
bert.of Turnberry Township; three
daughters "Mrs. Norman (Audrey)
Bonnet of East Wawanosh Town-
ship, Mrs. Charles (Allison) Hayes
and Mrs. John (Donna) Carter
both of Kinloss Township; one
sister Mrs. Elmer (Jean) Bushell
of Kinloss Township and one -•
brother Reuben of Akron, New
York State.
Three years' ago he was pre-
deceased by one •son Francis Wil-
liam Samuel Hewitt on October
18, 1969.
The funeral service was held at
MacLennan Funeral Home, with
interment in Kincardine Cemetery.
Rev,. George Garrett was minister.
Mr. Hewitt was a member of St.
John's Anglican Church, Bervie,
and a memliec orthe Black Knight-
order of the Orange Lodge.
Pallbeareri were Elson Arnold,
Glenn McConnell, Bob White,
Ezra Bushell, Cliff Chadbourne,
Cliff Hewitt.
Flower bearers were five grand-
sons-, Bob Hewitt, Eric Hewitt,
Vernon Hewitt, Larry Hayes,
