,The Lucknow Pee Wee hockey
club opened their seasomon Sat-
urday, November 18th with a 4'-3
win over Ripley.
The game, played in Lucknow,
was a real thriller as the home
boys trailed 3-1 at the end of the
second period. The score closed
to 3-2 at the 3:08 mark of the
third and stayed that way until the
final minute of play. Mark
Frayne counted the tying goal
with 52 seconds left arid a'nothe
great effort by Lucknow gave
them the winning goal as 28 see-
onds remained.
Mike Pollock scored two' Ripley
goals with Butth Walden getting 4
the other. Mark Frayne tallied
three for Lucknow and Grant
Gilchrist scored the winning goal.
LucknoW's goalies, Randy Gilay
and Reddy Havens, played
superbly in net as did Ripley's
Bobbie Sutton.

their first win of the season Friday
night before a good home town
crowd. They-built up a very
commanding 7-0 lead to the end
of the 2nd-period and then Tees-
water seemed to find, their stride
as the Came back to make a
very interesting 3rd period, scor-
ing 3 goals to r Lueknow's 2.
Lucknows goal tending pair of
Peter ChiSholrn and Greg Hunter
proved the downfall of the Visiting
team as they turned in good per-
formances.
