magic tricks. Alice Buchanan
expressed the appreciation of
the residents and guests for a very
enjoyable evening. By the way,
it was encouraging to have a' good
attendance of the relatives of

The craft room is, a beehive of

finished for the Annual Bazaar on
Wednesday , November 8th.
INTERVIEWS
Thursday afternoon from 2.00 -
5.00 p.m. and again in the
evening from '1.00 - 10.00 p.m. ,
interviews took place between
parents and teachers. It gave
interested parents a chance to' see
how their children were progress-
ing, and it was hoped that by do-
ing this in October any
student with_problerns could be
helped early in the year. Weledl
like to thank the parents for the
excellent turnout, which helped
make the Open House a success.
MUSIC
The Junior Grades are practising
for an Operetta for the 'Christmas
Concert _this December.
KINDERGARTEN
This is an interesting time in
Kindergarten. We are
learning Hallowe'en finger plays
and, songs. Our cuttiug and col-
ouring are of Hallowe'en things.
Next week we are going to have
a Hallowe'en party - oh, Goodie!

October 21 a boys and girls
team went to Paisley for a Cross
Country Race against teams from
other schools. Both the boys and
girls team from Lucknow put forth

boys played the boys' teams from
both schools and the girls played
the' girls' teams from both
schools. Although Lucknow lost
every game, the scores- were
close.

In early October volunteer
members of the Senior Grades
conducted a canvass for the CNIB.
Subscriptions totalled $420.22
and the students deserve a lot of
