Alice Buchanan expressed the appreciation of the residents and guests for a very enjoyable evening. INTERVIEWS Thursday afternoon from 2.00 - 5.00 p.m. and again in the evening from '1.00 - 10.00 p.m. , interviews took place between parents and teachers. It gave interested parents a chance to' see how their children were progress- ing, and it was hoped that by do- ing this in October any student with_problerns could be helped early in the year. MUSIC The Junior Grades are practising for an Operetta for the 'Christmas Concert _this December. KINDERGARTEN This is an interesting time in Kindergarten. We are learning Hallowe'en finger plays and, songs. Our cuttiug and col- ouring are of Hallowe'en things. Next week we are going to have a Hallowe'en party - oh, Goodie! Goodie I ! ! Sandra Thompson; Grade 7. SPORTS October 21 a boys and girls team went to Paisley for a Cross Country Race against teams from other schools. Both the boys and girls team from Lucknow put forth -a--good-effortl October 25a boys and girls team travelled to Kincardine to. p ay soccer gal and Ripley. Public School.
