CONLEY rilicknow occurred in Wingham The death of Joseph Conley of and District Hospital on Thursday, October 5 from. pneumonia . • ,,Mr. Conley, who was in his 89th year was born in Kinloss Township on February 29th, 1884 a son of James' and Ann Jane Conley, In .1908 he married Mary Ann Thompson of Holypod. They farmed in Kinloss until going to , Saskatchewan in 1914 .where he homesteaded for five years , and then moved back to Kinloss. Some 25 years ago,Mr. and Mrs. Conley moved to Lucknow , where Mr. Conley ran the Express • - Business, retiring_about 5 1/2 years ago. . Mrs. Conley passed away in 1952. Mr. Conley was honoured on the occasion of his 88th birthday t-a-family.supper_andAiNial ev- ening held in Langside Commun- ity Hall. He is survived by four sons, James of Durham ,'Ivan and Eugene of Lucknow , Len of St. Marys and one daughter, Mrs. Ron (Agnes) McLellancl-of-Lore1 burn, Saskatchewan; seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great. grandchildren; three sisters Mrs. • Ida Johnston of Listowel, Mrs. Mark (Polly) Johnston of Lticlutow and Mrs. Annie Wall of Biucelea ly fiaven..._Walkerton.
