Lunch was then served before the
Athlone and Ripley ladies left
for home.

R. R. 4, Brussels, was admitted
via ambtilance to hospital on
October 2. He lost -control of
the tractor which turned over and
the patient fell between the trac-
tor and,the plough which passed
over his bOdy. He received mul-
ti, lacerations to the face , abra-
sions to face , chest and right
elbow , lacerations to his legs,
fractured right leg and' ” •

on October 5 entertained Athlone
W.I, of Perth Centre District.
They were met at Canadian Tire,
Wingham by President Miss Merle
Wilson, Secretary-Treasurer Mrs.
McGuire and Mr. and, Mrs.
Victor Emerson and taken to
CKNX television and 'radio station
where they were conducted
through the building in 2 groups.
\After ,this they were taken
through the town and Shown the
many-new-houses in-the subdiit-
isiOns. Then they were brought
to Whitechurch CommunAty Mem-
orial Hall where dinner. Was pre-
pared by Whitechurch W.I. Also
present for the Occasion were
members of Ripley W.I. who had
put on a skit at Silver Lake when
Bruce SOuth District celebrated
the 75thlanniversary.-

passenger in a car driven by
Richard Stacey which struck a
parked; vehicle while attempting
to avoid an oncoming car at the •
North end of Leopold Street. He
received a small laceration and
abrasions to face, was treated
and later released.

Ross Green, age • 51, R. R. 'Holy-
rood, was a passenger in a car
driven by his brother Edmund:
At the corner of Alfred and Jos-

was struck from the side by a .sec-
ond car,(driver unknown). He re-
ceived whiplash injuries, was
treated and discharged.

Wingham, son of Mr. and Mrs.
William Kieffer , fell on a plastic
horn at the Teeswater Fair. He
was admitted' to hospital with
inner mouth lacerations.

palm on a silo loader.
Two car collision occurred On
Highway # 86, approximately one
mile East of Bluevale on October
9. A car with a trailer was trav-
elling East on HighwaySe to
their home in Kitchener and was
driven by Rothan Brenner, age
50, 216 Samuel Street, Kitchener
He collided with a car. travelling
West (driver unknown).

Roman Brenner, lacerated and

hospital, condition satisfactory.
Two paddle dogs, were brought'
into hospital and examined by Dr.
Green, Veterinarian, Wingham.
They were-discharged, with the
daughter.
SECOND CAR
Neil H. Campbell, age19,
Bluevale , son of Mr. and Mrs.
Hugh Campbell , was ,admitted to
hospital with a fractured jaw;
multi facial-lacerations, partial
arnputation'of second left •finger,
shock. Condition fait.
Hans Verbeek, age 22;-R. R. 2,
Bluevale son Of Mr. and Mrs.
Gerrit Verbeek, was transferred
to Victoria Hospital, London,
with fractured left leg, crushed
Chest , multi lacerations, condi=
tion fair.
Donald' Garniss Thompson; ag'e
21, Bluevale , was pronounced
dead-at the scene by Coroner Dr.
J. K. McGregor.
