Mrs. George Foulon, Wingham,
received a scalp laceration when,

at the Wirigham Golf Club.
Miss Jennie Murray, Wingham
fractured her left leg in a fall
A at her home on Victoria Street.
She was treated and transferred to
St. Joseph's HOstAtal,- London.
Brian Adarhs, R. R. 2, Blue-
vale, fractured his left ankle play-
ing baseball at the Brussels .Ball
Park.
- Carol Raymond, age 12, rus-
sels , daughter of Mr. and
Robert Raymond, fell from a horse
she was riding at Gordon Work-
man's Brussels. The horse fell on
the patient, 'She received injuries
• to back and face.
Richard Stapleton, it. R. 4,
Wingham,' had the lid of a roan-
hole coder fall on hisleft foot in
front of the town hall, Wingham.
He received multi-fractures to
the first and second toes on left
• foot. •
Robert Johnston, age 16 , Tees-
• water, son of Mr. and Mrs.. Ross
Johnston, fractured his right fing-
ers in a fall on the main street in
Teeswater.
There passed away on Thurs-
_day, October 5 , in Kincardine
General Hospital, a lifelong res-
ident of the community of Pine
River, in the person of Jane
Emily Reid, the former Jennie
Farrell, daughter •of Mr. and'Mrs.
Samuel Farrell.
The funeral was held on Oct-
ober 7 at the MacLennan' Funeral
Home 'in Kincardine with the
Rey. John Hill officiating.
Acting as pallbearers were Lynn
and Brian Reid, Ernest Ackert,
Jack Campbell, Rob Shouldice •
and Wilson Farrell. Flower bear-
ers were Lester Ferguson , Allan
Farrell, Jim. Bradley and Cecil
HolLands.
Mrs. Reid is survived by one
daughter , Hilda; Mrs. Raynard
• Ackert of Holyrood and _one son,
Leonard-of-Reid's Cormers, a,
brother William Farrell and one
sister, Mrs. John McMurchy.. She
y.fas.predeceased by her husband
John, and a son, Morris:
Mrs. Reid was a devoted mem-
ber_ofTine River United Church
and was a life member of the
former W.M.S. She was a life
member of Reid's Corners Wom-
en's Institute , having served as its
first secretary.
Interment was in Kincardine
Cemetery.

and piano' duet by Mrs. Lorne
Sparks and Mrs. Jack Needham.
