now son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
Brooksi-Was,standing on-the_tongu
of a wagon and his pant leg be-
came• caught in the power take off
shaft. He received a lacerated
right leg.
Mrs. William (Shirley) French,
-age 24, Wingham; was driving--
on Highway 86 north of Bluevale
and lost control of her car which
rolled. She injured her left, leg
and received contusions to her leg
The mishap was investigated by
Corp. CrosIdll, Wingham,
Ontario.
Edward Courtney , age 13,,.God-
erich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo
Courtney, lost control_of thecar
he was driving on the 10th conces-
sion of Ashfield and struck a tree.
He was alone in the ear. He re-
ceived lacer_asions 'to his right
hand and head injuries. He was
admitted to hospital where his
condition is satisfactory. 0.P.P.
investigated.

Treat Injuries
At Hospital
A car driven-by Neil Ernmerson
Lockhart , age 19, Blyth, went
out of control on the 10th conces-
sion of East Wawanosh
September 26 and rolled ;several
times, Passengers: Louis Guind-
on, age 16, Blyth, was Pronounc-
ed dead at the scene by Coroner ,
Dr. J. C. McKim of Lucknow;
Steve Michael Mitchell, age 16,
Myth, received abrasions to ^back
and hips , shock. Treated and
later released. Neil Lockhart .'
was admitted to hospital suffee-
ing from shock, concussion, and
possible internal'irijuries. Con-
dition satisfactory. The • accident
was investigated by Wingham
O.P.P. McKittrick and ,Wittig.
Richard Rawn, age 7,
Wingham, son of. Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Rawn, fell at home and
received a laceration to his fore-
head..
William Payne , R. R. 5 Wing-
ham , lacerated the palm of his
---left-hand_when_the rrank„on.a._
tractor back fired.'
Ray Laidlaw, Wingham, was
admitted to hospital via ambu-
lance September 27 after having
fallen off a ladder,,landing on
cement. He received a lacerat-
ed-scalp, abrasiOns and fractured
spine. He was given first aid
treatment and transferred to
Victoria Hospital in LondOn. .
Harold Howald, R. R. 5,
Lucknow , received painful injur-
ies to his face and fractured fac-
ial-bones when he was using a -
chain saw at his home September
28 and_lome_wpod MO him in.
