Dog Problems
Lucknow, Ontario,
October -.7th.
Lucknow Sentinel,
Dear Sir ,
I understand all dogi were to be
:tied up and kept on their own prop.
erty. We have tried to keep this •
order in regard to Our small Man-
chester. dog, only to have 'it nearly
mauled to death while . it.was, tied
up and helpless to defend itself.
Its pitiful cries attracted our
'attention and we chased off a large
dog as it was tearing our dog to

pieces, throat cut and bleeding
down the chest to throat., ear -
chewed, a large lump on back of
neck, hip injury and collar torn
off neck.
Why are these kinds of large
dogs running at large? We have
chased this dog off our property in
the day time quite often and knew
who' it belonged to as it tried to
attack our dog before.
The proper authorities have
been notified and this• dog'will be
picked 'up if caught on' our ptop-.
erty again.
