Union got off to a swinging start
in Reid's. Corners Hall on Friday,
September 1st with some good old
time fiddle music from some of
the clan Members. The music
was later turned over to Boyd's
Orchestra who are also clan, mem-
bers.
As a Scottish clan, everyone en
joyed the numbers Murray McDon-
ald played on the bagpipes; Mary
and Helen • Kempton and Shannon
C6-Mtney favoured the group with
two numbers, "rd Like To Teach
The World to Sing" and "He's
got. the Whole World in His
Hand" , accompanied by Mrs.
Bob Courtney on the piano; Bert
McDonald on the fiddle and Mrs..
Ross, Cumming on, the piano sup-
plied the music as 1Cim McDon-
ald gave a fine showing of the
Sword Dance.
The firit prize of the evening
was a spot dance with prizes
going. to Murray. McDonald and
Sharon McConn. The other priz-
es were distributed after lunch.
