oured on their 55th wedding
anniversary by a family dinner at
the Candlelight Inn, Goderich. -
Mrs. Toni Park spent last week
with Mr. and Mrs. Torn Lawlor
at Auburn. Mrs.' Lawlor is her
daughter.
An impressive service was given
in Dungannon United Church on
Sunday when the S. S.
promotions were part of the church
Service. Two boys, Bill Erring-
ton and' Brock Hasty read the scrip
turelesson. The Junior Clic&
accompanied-by Karen-Rivett-on
the 'organ and Donna Errington on
the guitar sang "Hallowed Be Thy
Name". A solo by. Mrs. Ernest
Pritchard from Toronto followed
the sermon "The Two Sons".
The Drennan children also prov-
ided a musical selection.

MRS. JOSEPH GAUNT.
The.death of Mrs. Joseph
Gaunt of West Wawanosh Town-
ship occurred on Saturday, Sept-
ember 2ird, in Winghain and .
7bistrict Hospital. •
Mrs. 'Gaunt who was in her
:93rd year,. suffered a fractured
pelvis pi a fall one week prey-
iOusly. Complications follOwed
causing her death.
She was-the former Mary-Ann-
Perdue, daughter of Caesar
Perdue. and Susanne Pannabecker
and was born in Goderich Town-
ship on September 16th, 1879.
on April 6th, 1898 she married
Joseph Gaunt of West Wawanosh
and they farmed.on the 12th con-
cession: Mr. Gaiint passed away
in 1906.
For the past few years Mrs..
Gaunt has been residing .with her
daughter Mrs. Josephine McTav-
ish of West•Wawanosh but for the
last few mollths-has-been-a.tes-id -
ent at , "Cozy Cottage", Kinloss
ToWnship.
Mrs. Gaunt is survived by two
sons and fair daughters: Ernest
Gaunt on the hoine farm, West
Wawanosh; Mrs.' John (Majeska)
Scott of —London, Mrs. Earl"(Mad-
$1ine) Durnin 'of St. Helens; Mrs.
Fired (Jean) Johnston Of Belfast ,
Harold Gaunt of Fordyce ;. Mrs.
Gorden (Josephine) MacTavish
of -the -9th concession of West
Wawanosh; fifteen grandchildren
and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two grand.
children.
The funeral service'was held at
Mackenzie Memorial Chap‘1,
Lucknow on Monday; September
4th at 3.30 p.m.
