The September meeting of
the afternoon auxiliary of the
W .; M.S. of the Lucknow Presby-
terian Church, met in the Sunday
School room with an attendance
of sixteen. Mrs,. James Little
presided, opening the meeting
with the poem, "Meet God in
the Morning".
Following Psalm "0 worship the
King" , Mrs. Jas. Smith gave the
Bible Study, "Feed my sheep"
reading from John, Chapter 21. .
Mrs. Robert Reid led in prayer.
BuSiness was dealt iith, and
visitor's report given. Roll call
was answered by naming one of.
the Prophets. The offertory pray-
er was given by Mrs. Little and
the review of the "Glad Tidings"
was taken by the secretary.
Mrs. Noble favoured with a
piano solo "Whispering Hope",
which was much .enjoyed; Miss
Sadie Johnston had the Mission
Study on Christians and Jews,
their-relationship in the history
of the Church in its beginning
and in this century.
Following the singing.of the
hymn "Now thank we all our
God", Mrs. Noble Johnston
closed the meeting with prayer.

er. Mrs. Wellington Henderson,
on behalf of the.committee in
charge, took over for the program,
and read the thanksgiving prayer.
Mrs. Jack Needham gave an
interesting and inforniative talk -
on Porto Rico.. Mrs. Needham
said schools are overcrowded and
classes may be held almost any-
where from car ports to churches.
Mr. and. Mrs. Needham went back
last winter hoping the new school
would be started and they could
help with planning and-construc-
tion, only to find out that things
Move so slowly, that only the
land had been bought ,to put the
building on. However Mr. Need-
