The September meeting of St.
Augustine C.W.L. was held las't .
Tuesday evening in the Parish
Hall. Mrs, John Franken, presid -
ent., was in the chair and Fr.
Dentinger opened the meeting
with prayer. Mrs. Neil' Stapleton
gave the treasurer's report and
Mrs. Gerry Van Aaken tools the ,
roll call.
The Stratford Deanery ,meeting
will be held in Goderich at St.
Peter's Church this year on Sept-
ember 20th from' 10 A.m. until'
2.30 .p.m. This was, d discuse
and a number of ladies will be
attending the meeting.
The fall bake sale was discus-
sed and. it was decided that it
would be cancelled for this year
and a' donation of money received
from each lady instead.

group about education and the
importance of parental teaching
of religion and courtesy to their
