A Teeswater business transac-
tion of interest to the community
took place recently when Barry
Ireland 'and Ronald. McKee pur-
chased the Cockshutt Implement
business from Mrs. Donald Donald-
son.
It will be known as the Tees-
water Farm Equipment Sales and
Service. •
The late Donald Donaldson had
et—up-the machinery,business in
Teeswater in 1962 in the former •
Foundry Building on Main Street
having moved the business from
their farm in Kinloss Township
where his father-in-law ,.the late
Earl Hodgins had previously oper-
ated it. Mr. Donaldson had
carried on the business until his
death earlier this year.
Ron McKee is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Norman McKee of the
8th concession of CnIross, With
whom he lives. He ha
employed with Cyanamid of
Canada for the past six years be-
fore entering this new venture.
Barry Ireland , a son of Mr.
and Mrs. David Ireland of Culross,
,had also been with Cyanamid of
the truck upon impact. Seeing
the danger of a second collision,
Beasley drove his hack .to a
ditch thus avoiding serious injury
to the schoolchildren. ".
"Though Beasley's steel cargo
shifted, piercing the cab of the
truck, the ,driver escaped with,
minor injuries. He refused to be
treated until he had ensured 'all
children were safely out of the
