was honoured by three showers,
two in Toronto and one by the
ladies of Trinity United ChurclL
and relatives.
Mrs. Melvin McClenaghan Of
Waterloo, Mr. and Mrs.,Jim Mc-
Intyre of Val Caron spent the
week end with their parents Mr,
and Mrs. Ben McClenaghan and
their brother Carl'and Mrs. Mc-
Clenaghan, who had received ,
the news of the sudden passing of
a son-in-law and brother-in-law,
the late Stan Leeson.
Sunday visitors at the McClen-
aghan home were Mr., and Mrs.
Angus MacDonald and Mrs. Sadie
Bikrbour of St. Helens, Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Hamilton and Mona of
BlueVale and Mrs. Walter James
o.f Woodstock.
Saturday callers'at the McClen-
aghan home were Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Moffat of Sombra and
Mrs. Dierken of Orangeville. The
two ladies were Beaton girl's and ,
sisters of Ken Beaton.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Caslick were
Sunday visitors with Mr.' and Mrs.
Bill Caslick.
Congratulations to- Mr. and. Mrs,
George Miller of Hamilton on the
arrival of their daughter on Sun,-
day. Mrs. Miller is the former
Donna Caslick of Culross.

on and Glen Weatherdon, both of

Trinity United Church, Ashfield on

The bride is the daughter of Mr.

The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father and .moth-
er, wore a floor-length gown and
train of polyester satin. 'The dress
bad a high neckline, puffy sleeves
with wide cuffs, slightly raised
waistline and flared skirt and was
accented with wide lace and
embroidered daisy trim. Her
headpiece was a Juliet cap",'
which held a train-length veil
with daisy trim/ The bride wore
her, grandmother tarneron's
necklace, that she had worn, 63'
years ago on her wedding day.
She tarried a bouquet of yellow
sweetheart roses, white miniature.
carnations and trailing ivy.
Matron-of honour-was-the
bride's sister ,Mrs. Hugh (Sandra)
Graham of Welland. She wore a .
floor-lstigth gown of floral poly-
ester,batiste with matching frill.
The bodice of the dress was of
yellow chiffon over, taffeta with a
high neckline and long full
sleeves with wide cuffs trimmed

Word was 'received here on Fri-
day by Mr. and Mrs. Ben McClen -
aghan and Mr, and Mrs. Carl Mc-
Clenaghan, .informing them of the
pasSing of Stanley Leeson, age 53,
of Nanaimo, British Columbia ,
husband of Doris McClenaghan.
He leaves to mourn his loss one
son Bob age. 24 and one daughter
Carol 17. He died .of a heart
attack in. theambulance on the
way to the hosPital. The
_community extends their sincerest
sympathy to all'. The relatives
here could not get a plane before
Tuesday and hence no one went
Nanaimo.
Visitors on Saturday with Mr.
and Mrs. Elwood Groskorth were
Mr. and Mrs. John Craig and two
sons of Thornhill, Mr. and Mrs.
Jim Moffat , Heather and Ainsley
of 'London who are .
holidaying this week at a cottage
at Southampton.

from a water system and who may
not wish to continue using it can-

Pherson's home, Lucknow at
7 p.m. and for Miss Doris Rint-
oul at Whitechurch Community
Memorial Hall at 8.30. both
are brides to be. On the return
trip to Kettleby Mrs, Rintoul
was accompanied by Laverne
White.
Miss Cheryl Ross of 'Owen Sound
visited last week with her aunt
and uncle Mr. and ivirs. Don Rqs and with her cousins. Douglas, •
Bob, David and Brian.

A reception was held on Friday
evening in Whitechurch Commun.
ity'Mernorial•Hall in honor of
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor nee
Marian Armstrong (newlyweds).
Music•for dancing was sUpplied
by the Alley Cats with the calling
off being done by Clark Johnston
and Brian Riptotll.
At-lunch title Nff and Mrs.
Taylor were called to the plat-
form given seats of honor while
Cecil Cranston read an address
and Donald Murray „presented
them with a gift of money.
Mr. and Mrs-. Taylor replied-
thanking the sponsors for the
time put on for them and their
gift. They all sang For They
Are Jolly Good Fellows. Danc-
ing was resumed till closing
time.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Wayne
(Marilyn) Wettlaufer of Ottawa ,
sister of the bride and Miss Marg-
aret_Clark of Don Mills. Their
gowns and flowers were styled
identical to that of the matron
of honour 'except their
dresses were in orange.
Groomsman was Joe Tyrkus of
Stratford. Ushers were Doug
Cameron of R. R. 7 Lucknow ,
brother of the bride, and Dave
Nickel of Stratford.'
