ON THE. ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD
INVITATION- TO SUBMIT
WRITTEN BRIEFS
On June 30th,* 1972, the Ontario Legislature appointed a
Select Committee to examine, inquire into and report upon the
Ontario Municipal. Board and to make recommendations on: (a) the purpose, object and functions of the. Ontario Municipal
lard. (b) the-jurisdletion ofth-e—Ort—i arRiMunicipal-B9ard.
(e) the structure and organization of the Ontario Municipal Board. (d) the procedures and practices of the , Ontario Mumcipal Board.. (e) the procedures by way of appeal from the orders and
rulings of the Ontario Municipal Board, including appeals by,
waY of petitions to the Lieutenant Governer in Council. (f) the
relationship of the Ontario Municipal Board in the digtharge of
its responsibilities with the Provincial Government, local govern-
ment and the individual citizen.
The Committee invites written briefs from individuals and
organizations who may wish to present information, opinions or
suggestions regarding 'any of the' above matters relating to the Ontario Municipal Board.

CLAN DONALD MEET
The-annual- Clan-Donald
Reunion was held Sunday, August
'6th. Sixty-three members enjoy-
ed a picnic lunch and had their
business meeting in-Kairshea Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Dailey and

home of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey .

Shirley Marie ,Nicholson and
'James Gordon Montgomery.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs: John Nicholson of
R. R. 2 Lucknow. The groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
Montgomery of Lucknow.
Rev. Glenn Noble officiated at,
the double ring ceremony.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er the bride wore a floor-length
gown of white polyester crepe
with empire waist and lace and
_satin_trim. Her waist -length
veil was trimmed with seed
pearls and she carried a bouquet
of yellow roses and carnations.
Maid of hondur was Miss Marg-
arelontgorneg of,,,,Lurcknow ,
sister of the groom. • She wore a
floor-length gown of turquoise
dotted swiss, empire style with
white velvet ribbon in lace on
waistband. She carried a. cascade
bouqUet of white carnations with,
turquoise. trim.

niece of the bride was flower
She wale a dress similar
to the maid of honour and carried
'a basket of white mums and
carnations trimmed in turquoise.
Bob Ritchie of Lucknow was

Mrs. Ross Cumming of Lucknow

The bride's mother chose a
Houston on Friday, after attend-
ing the Craft. Festival. Mrs. Dail-
ey_and_Mrs_Houstori were both on
the A.C. W. W. trip to Ireland
some years ago.

came to find work and homes at
Crewe. They were 'Bill French.

corsage.
The couple will reside 'in Luck-,
now where the groom' is employ-
ed at Montgomery Motors and the
bride is on the staff of the Bank
