semester at University of Guelph,
RuSsell -MOncrief, Carol and Allan
Finlayson are spending 'a few holi-
days at their homes.
Mr. and Mrs. Ross MacKenzie
are on a'trip through the States
and will return home in about 4
week's tirne.
Many' from the area attended
the beef barbeque in Ripley on
Sunday evening.

enjoyed their July meeting thurs-
_day evening, as guests of Mrs.
Gordon Finnigan, Goderich. The
president, Mrs. W. Rutledge cal-
led the meeting to order, wel-
comed the members and guests,
and asked for the opening Ode and
the Mary Stewart Collect.
The Agriculture and canadian
Industries Committee was in
charge of the meeting. Mrs: F.
Young introduced the guest speak-
er, Mr. Terry Morgan of Victoria
and Grey Trust Co. , Stratford.
Mr. Morgan told the members cf
the different benefits and help to

Victoria and Grey. Mr. Morgan's
particular department, is Estates
and. Trust. After telling about
the work of that department 'he
'Answered the many questions
• presented by the members. He
said it isvery important that
every-one 18 years and over should
have a will and have it drawn up
by a lawyer. Mrs. Young thanked
Mr.- Morgan for his very inforrna-
- the talk.
In the absence of the secretary ,
Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Young took' •

answered with a variety of inter-

speaker Mr. Murray Gaunt M.P.P

Sympathy of this community
is extended to those families, who
have lost loved ones during the
past couple of weeks. Relatives
and friends of Mrs, Annie Mc-
Murchy will miss 'her friendly
hello. Mrs. Mt Murchy passed
away in Kitchener after a lengthy
illness. Mrs. Walter Brown passed
away in Niagara having,had a
continuous illness for'the past two
years. Mrs. Orland. Richards of
Lucknow , fo?merly of Lochalsh
and Paramoulit passed away in
Wingham hoSpital'after a lengthy
illness'also. To the relatives of
these.people we extend a sincere
sympathy.
Recent visitors' with Mr. and
Mrs. Art Matthewma'n were Mr.
and Mrs. Wm. Grant and Donnie
of Chalk River, Donnie remained
with his aunt and , uncle for a
holiday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack MacKenzie
returned home from a trip. to
Western Canada where they visit-
ed with sons Doug and Gary.
Mr. and Mrs. Allan McCharles
and family of Monueal .spent a
weeks holidays with Mr. and Mrs.
MoiCharles. Other visitors
in the MeCharles home included-
Mr. and Mrs. CLarence
McGillivray of New York City,
Mrs. Allan Stewart, of Eganville '
and Mr. Art .Elliott of Toronto.
