youth exchange program is pro- .
gressing well with 4 youths com-
ing to Local 335 from Western
Canada , from July 16 to 26. The
youth stay for a day ortWO with
'each host farm family , so sever-
al hosts are needed to take them.
On July 22, a special evening
is being planned for all members
of the Local to meet these young
people , possibly in the form of
a chicken barbecue. This will
be discussed atthe Local meeting
on. July 6th.

ALEX B. McKAGUE
Alexander Bertram McKague of
Teeswater passed away in Victor-
ia Hospital, London on Saturday,
:June 24, in, his 73rd year.
Born on July 30, 1899, in. Cul-
ross Township, he was a son of
the late Alexander McKague and
-Hannah-Hutton-. He--lived--in--eu-1---
ross until his marriage to' Avis
Sillick and since that time he has
rriade•his home in 'Teeswater,
Alex B. was in the insurance
and investment' business for about
35 years, retiring five years ago
whien he sold his insurance busin-
ess to Ronald Lamont. He contin-
ued in' the investment business
until his death. -'He was
an active" member of the Tees-
water Fair Board in the past ,
having been Secretary-Tteasurer,
and Manager and he served a
term as PreSident of the Ontario
Assoctition of Pall Fairs. Treas-
urer of Teeswater Hyd,ro Commis-
sion and Secretary-Treasurer of
Culross Mutual Fire Insurance
Company were among the offices

A fine upstanding Christian,
Mr. McKague lived his belief.
He Wa,s.a member of the Knox
Presbyterian, Church from where
his funeral Service was held and' '
at which-time Rev. T. MCKinney
spoke words of comfort and 'refer-
red to his faith in Christ.
Fortnam-yycam-he had-been
teacher and Superintendent of the
Sunday School as well as an Elder
and Clerk ofthe ;Session in the
United Church.
He was a member of the Wing-
ham...Gideon Camp and for many
years distributed bibles to the
elementary schools throughout this
area.
SurviVing besides his wife is a
son Ivan McKague'Of St. Thomas
and a 'daughter' Miss Connie' Mc - '
Kague of Oakland ,' California; a
brother Wilbur McKague of Culross
and three grandchildren. He .was
predeceased by an infant daughter
ails] a sister Myitle, •Mrs, Howard
Wliytock.
Pallbearers were six nephews,
Arthur McKagne , Bill Lindsay of
CuIross;-_DOnalcL McKa-gue of
Willowdale; Murray Lindsay of
Walkerton; Lloyd,Sillich and
'Ronald Lamont of Teeswater.

flowers.
Burial was in Teeswater Cemet-
ery following the funeral service
on Tuesday June 27.
