PAGE NINII Lucknow Midgets played two games in the past week, losing • both of them after playing' the first three without a loss. Almost two week's have passed since the team has played a game and with few practices due to the weather conditions, they have lost a great deal of the poise that they had at the beginning of the schedule. s A. scheduled ,game With Tees- _waterwas called due to the.....we,r_.. weather on two occasions and will have to be played' at a liter date. On Friday night of last week they played in Ripley and were soundly defeated 13-1. The weather played havoc with this game, however Ripley played a fine game of ball and well des- erved the win. Monday night of ,this week LucknOw travelled to Formosa and 'again were tagged for a 5-0 loss. A lack of good hitting in both games and a feW costly errors proved to be the major downfall: All three pitchers were used in both games. Tonight , Wednesday night , Lucknow plays host to Southamp-; ton and the fans can e assure• o action as they are determined 'to get back into form.
