An organization meeting for the
new _Ripley and DiStrict Lions
Club was held last Wednesday
evening. Officers of the Tees-
water Lions - the parent club
were present , namely the presid-
ent Orval McNabb and Past Dep-
uty District`Governor and Past
President Teeswater in 69 - 70
Frank Field. Officers of the Dist-
rict , which is A-9, were present,
for the evenirig , Governor Nor-'

Chairman Charles Shaw of'Blyth
and Extension Chairman John W.
Taylor of Alliston. Twenty-five
members of the Ripley Club were
in attendance with the following
executive elected , president
Clayton Nicholson; secretary , Dr.
Pete Bissonnette; and
treasUrer Reuben Burnett. Dr..
Pete Bissonnette has been a mem-
ber of the Teeswater Club.
