The regular meeting of Trirl-
ity United Church Women Was
held in the basement of the'
Church on Thursday evening ,
4603, with a good attendance.
The meeting was opened with
:prayer by the president , Mrs. Jim
Bunter, followed.by Hymn 241 •
and the Lord's Prayer was repeated
in.Unisom The minutes,of the
last meeting were'read followed
by the roll call which was answer -
ed with'a verse from Proverbs and
reference! Eight hospital calls
were reported and three thank-you
notes were read by Mis. Cliff

about Jepthah and .his da ughter .
Mrs. Alton conducted the Bible
Study followed by questions and
payer,
The busineSs portion of the
meeting followed with the ladies
deciding to paint the basement
of.the Church. They then had
Barbara Wilkins talk, to them
about being at Five Oaks for the
Sifting Holiday and they enjoyed
her talk very much. The meet.,

were.preparing lunch Mrs. Ken
Alton read the Trinity Tattler and
everyone had a smile,. A dainty
lunch was served by the commit-
teein charge. The hostess for ttp2

The Holyrood Wornens institute
met in the hall on Thursday after'-
noon. Mrs. Raynard Ackort pres-
ided and the meeting opened with
the ocle and. Mary Stewart Collect.
The roll call was "The program
I enjoyed most, and a suggestion
for next year's program". Com-
munications were read also those
of last year's annual meeting.

Society came together for'their
regular meeting on Sunday night
at, the home of Mr. and Mrs..
Walter Elliott.
The worship service was conduct
ed as follows: Jim de Boer, scrip-
ture reading; Prayer,. Cecil de
Boer; meditation, Judy Jamieson.
Janet Adams reminded all of
the previous meeting and read,
items of correspondence.
Mr. Wybenga tested by means
of quitz and question games on
how much they know and how
Much they don't know about, the
Bible. Regardless of the pOsltive
and negative results everybody ,
enjoyed the evening.
In the meantime the more im-
mediate things of life.were not
forgotten. Mrs. Elliott prepared
a delicious snack and kith Elliott
saw that all got their share. -
