was the guest speaker, •at the Pine
River U.C. W. Easter meeting
last Tuesday 'evening. She gave
' a most interesting -talk on the
theme "Smell the Flowers" stress-
ing that each one of us see the
bright side of life and do' the right
things as we go along.
HOLIDAY IN JAMAICA
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Campbell
of Arnberley left on Sunday to
spend a week's holiday in sunny
Jamaica. Also accompanying
them are Mr. and Mrs. Ron Harris
of Toronto.
Mrs. Raymond Mitchell is a
patient in London hospital follow-
ing surgery. Her friends from
the community wish her a speedy
recovery;

Mrs. Jack MacDonald, the

a poem and gave the opening
prayer.
'The scripture and meditation
was, presented by. Mrs. Lloyd
Moffat. Mrs. Lorne Sparks sang
a beautiful solo, with piano ac-
companiment by herself. She
had also composed the solo.
Mrs. Sparks was also the speak-
er for the evening: She chose as
her Subject "Freedom" and a
"Whole New Me".
Mrs. Jack ,MacDonald gave the

closed the meeting with prayer.
