The first game was play - ed in Lucknow on Good Friday, March 31 at'12. 00 noon, This game was more like water polo than hockey as the boys played in about an inch of water. How- ever the visitors came out on top by a 'score of 3 to 1. Paul Ham- ilton scored Lucknow's only goar„ unassisted. In Brussels on Sunday, April 2nd the local lads once again= went down to defeat by a score of 4.to 1. Paul'Murray scored for Lucknow from David Errington and Paul Hamilton: The Mildrpay Novice Tourna merit was held on Saturday , April 1st and the Lticknow boys made a very-good showing of thernselves winning their two games that day. They defeated Atwood' by a score of 11 to d. Goal scorers for Luck7 now were Paul Hamilton (3), Doug Dorscht (2), DaVid Errington .(2) and single goals going to -Ross--Ernight -;---Dannritondry= -;-Steph- en Pritchard and Blair Alton. On Monday , April 3rd LUdknow had to return to Mildniay to play in the semi-final round and were defeated once again by TeesWat-, er 4 to 0. This ended the season for the boys who were mighty tired after just finishing 5 gamek in four-days. 'We must admit the coaches were getting a little weary too. All in all the Lucknow Novice had a very good season for a bunch of 'first year boys. Their MEN'S 7 P.M. LEAGUE Hold Banquet At ' — Presen nners record for the season stands at 16 wins, 3 ties, 26 losses. Quite a number of the boys from this year's team will still be with the team another year., With a little more experience under their belts they are looking for a real good, season next year. Charlie Murray, Tom Pritchard and Harold Greer would like to thank the boys and- their parents for their co-operation during' the season and also for the gifts received at the conclu- sion.
