pledge followed by, the minutes

The leaders demonstrated neck-
lines with Mrs. MacDonald using
binding, Mrs.. Bev. Hodgins doing
a V-neek and Mrs. Margaret
Bannerman putting on a rib knit

gathered in the Lucknow Public
School for their fifth meeting.
We opened the meeting by repeat-
ing the 4-H Pledge. .
Roll call for- this meeting was
do an applique and bring to the
meeting. Our cover design will
be ready for next week.
• Mrs., Richards demonstrated how
to do a curve binding and each ,
girl did a sample of this binding •
for their record book. After this
was completed each girl worked
on her own garment..
Before Closing we enjoyed
apples which Mrs. Richards
brought for a treat. We then,
closed the meeting by repeating
the' 4-H Creed,
On Thursday , 'March 16 at
7.09 P.m. the Knit Wits met in
the Lucknow Public School for
their sixth meeting.- We opened
the meeting by repeating the'
441 pledge. Six girls answered
the roll call, which was' Work
on your garment- a-nd:report a-Y the
next meeting'.
LOrraine Boyle read the minutes
of the last meeting and then the
treasurer gave her report. We
are not holding a. meeting next
week due to ..the hblidays but
