This service is still available. There are appipximately thirty farmers on Canfarm. This is a computer record keeping system. Records .are kept on a monthly basis and mailed to Guelph: Using this sys- .tetn, farmers are aware of 'their total • receiPts .and expenses at almost all films during the year. It is possible to handle some new accounts in 1972 on this sys- tem. AOone wishing to take ad- vantage of this program should contact this office as soon as possible. • ACID .SOILS Acid soils are. not .a problem in Bruce County, ' but alkaline soils are quite prevalent. PH values between 7.5 and 8.3 are quite-common. Soils that are high in limestone or dolomite .show such high values.
