First place Mount Forest came
to play Lucknow Sepoys in the
local arena Monday night and
went home disappointed as Luck;
now.clipped their .wings 7-6.
Lucknow played one of their
best games of the season. John
Rutherford stepped into the goal
and played a standard game. The
line of John Erriberlin, Dave •
MacKinnon and Glen-MOrningstar
scored all goals needed, scoring
the winner with 2 secondsleft to
play after Mount Forest had scor-
ed the'tieing goal at 19.53 of
the third period. -
John Emberlin had a sharp night
with 4 goals and 2 assists; Dave
Lucknow .is presently engaged
MacKinnon 1 goal, 4 assists; Glen
Morningstar., 2 goals and 4 assists;
Harvey Livingstone, 2 assists.
This gameproved a point that
Lucknow can play a good brand of
hockey as they have now defeated
every team in the Leagtie at
least once:
Mount Forest leads the league
with 19 points, Arthur has 13,
Elarriston 16, Lucknow 11 and Riv-
erside 2.
Dave MaCKinnon is top Lucknow
scorer with 25 points and is, tied
for fourth spot in the league. John
Fludder and John Emberlin each
have 21 points.
Fleas Lose .
• Leo Kinahan scored two goals,
Jain Penny and Mike Rintoul I
each, as Wingham Fleas defeated
Lu,cknow 4-0 in a game in Luck-
now on Saturday. •

Lucknow Midget hockey team
played one league ganie inThe
past week, on Friday night in
Ripley ;,and took a trimming with
. a 9-3.score. The local boys
were outplayed by the. Ripley lads
ifor the majority of the game.
Kevin Ackert led Lucknow's scor-
ing with two goals, and Kevin
Murray ,pickedup the-orlrei./
Walkerton bounced back i the
Port, Elgin tournament on Satur-
day and outscored Lucknow, 6-2,
to eliminate LuCknow in .the first
Ltrcknow had, trounced
their entry in, the. Kincardine
tournament 10-2, however Luck;
now did not•display the excellent
hockey that they had played in
Kincardine. In the first-two
periods they were unable' to •
launch a successful ,attack and it
Was not until late in the third
'period that: they started to loosen
up. arid as a result they .Were able
to score two :goals, one from Jim:
Murray and the other from Mark •
Chisholm.
