Glen is an appealing lad who has just turned nine. He is slender
With blue eyes, brown hair and fair skin., In good health, he is
extremely active and has a great zest 'for sports. 'He plays
hockey, baseball and lacrosse, '
Glen is highly competitive,. both in' sports and at school with a

puppet show where he made up the plot as ii, went along. 'He likes
making things -- his own. Hallowe'en costume,lor instance.
This lad's foster family have a cottage where he has learned
to swim, which he: loves. He also enjoys frequent visits to a
farin where he makes.friendi with the animals.
Glen would do well as .the only child, or with brothers and
sisters considerably older than ,himself. He needs parents 'who
can make him understand is loved for himself and not for

predeceased ,by one brother Car-

at the Porter and Turner Funeral
Home at. Mississauga on Wednes-
day, January 26th at 1.30 p . m.

years "young" on Friday received

many callers, including her broth-
ens , Will Marsh, Goderich, and
Mr.,and Mrs. Bert Marsh, Aub-

Sunday others who visited' Mrs.
Jones were Mr, and Mrs. John
Finnigan, and Mrs. Sardh Ansett,

honour of Mrs. Wni. Irvin's birth-

HUronview Ladies Auxiliary with
Mrs. Colelough serving as master
of ceremonies. A great variety of
numbers highlighted the program.
A sing song of a few 'old tyme
favourites got the party off on the
right foot and:the'whistling solos
arid step 'dance by Mrs:
Heart and Mrs, D. Sutcliffe re-
spectively fit the atmosphere and
pattern of the program perfectly.
The most unusual and yery evid- .
ently enjoyed by the 130'residents
and guests in attendance were the
dancing numbers provided by Miss
Sylvia Wilson. Showing her , •
dexterity she performed an Irish
jig , three Scottish nurniiers and
a, Sailors hornpipe. Her tirne..and
effort was very much appreciated
by everyone. As• a change of ,
pace, Erin Whitrifore 'sang 2
well-loved ,religious -songs, "The
Old Rugged Cross” and "Beauti-
ful Carden of Prayer". Rounding
Out the entertainment portion of
the program in appropriate
style was a quartet of Mrs. Mc-
Michel, Mrs. Nevens, Mrs. beard
and. Mr. Whitmore, singing :'lieaur
iful Isle of Somewhere". Mrs.
Alicia ,Leyburne expressed grati-
tude, on, behalf of the audience,_
