In the ,first game they were met
by the Wingham team who came

had marry scoring chances but was
stopped by the Teeswater goalie. •

penalty , a five minute end but-
ting penalty to Ian Montgomery.
The extra man for Durham enabl-
ed them to tie the score and when
the final whistle' went the score
was tied 9-9. In order to declare
a winner each team' received
three penalty shots, however this
ended in a tie also. The next,
step, was the first 'team to score
on a' penalty shot wOuld •be declar•
'ed the winner. • Durham was suc-
cessfill and was then eligible to
advance io the final against
Kincardine, which they won 4-2
to give them the cup and the
championship.... Needless to say
it was rather heart-breaking for . '
