COMPLETED
During September and October,
five: senior 4H Dairy Club. .mem-
bers from Bruce • County along
withtwelve others from the sur-
rounding counties of Perth, Huron.
and Grey, have been 'working on
this. year's Silver Dollar' Comet

ition, "
. Each ' of the • competitors have
priced •very, hard',at doing their
..best. in the •four sections: of 'the'
Competition. These sections con-'
sisted of. an .-essay worth 15% of
.the final score, an essay worth
25% of the. final score, showman-
ship worth 30% and ,a calf worth
another 30% of the final score of:
1000 points: , The final part of the
competition •was held at the• Tees-
water Fall Fair with the judging
of the calves'•and the competitor's
,showmanship ability.
The Competition . was sponsored
by:United Breeders Inc. -of -Guelph
who award 50 Silver Dollar s and
a silver tray to the winner, plus
'25 Silver . Dollars and a silver
