LUCKY THIS TIME
This week's: `issue -carries =a= -story about a stray -bullet = which.
passed through the livingroom of Mr. and Mrs. Sam. Stanley of Luck -
now and ;ledged in their hvingroom wall.
•
The Stanley residence, onWheeler Street west, better known as
"Standpipe Hill", is centred in 'a residential area of town and the
"bullet incident" leaves some sobering thoughts with residents of that
area'' of town, or for that ' matter': with any r
eringu areas of the village
'Let us hope that the incident. was an isolated accident
However, . the possibility exists that firearms ' are , in ,the hands
of irresponsible people. Shooting in the direction of a ;populated area
shouhi certainly' not ,be idealt with tightly: Police are investigating' the
matter. It''s—lri ai`thatrthe o. ea ize-the•-serious
ness of *hat has happened:.
