WHEREAS it. iS -deeined ' advisable by the Municipal
Council of the Corporation of the Village of. Lucknow to pass a
by-law permitting. Sunday Sports. . • ; • ,
THEREFORE the •%Council of. the. Corporation of the
• Village of Lucknow ,enacts asfollows:.
' 1. Section 1 of the Lord's Day (Ontario) Act 1960. - 61 is
•, hereby declared to be in force in the Village of Lucknow.
. • 2. The application of the said Section of the said act shall
• apply to the'.whole •of the. Village of Lucknow. . . .
3. The application of the said Section of the said Act shall

be limited to the respective 'public games or sports in the Vil-
luge-of-Lucknow-tas-follows: . • . , , • . • . .

Being mindful of the action of the Liicknow Village Council
in reading a first and second time a by-law permitting Sunday
Sports in the Village of Lucknow and being unanimous in its
desire to protect the periods for public skating against, pre-
empting bother activities -in the Lucknow Arena, the Lucknow.
Arena Operating ,Committee have approved the following policies
•• in regard to the operation of the Lucknovv Arena:
1. No activity shall take place nor be-SChedulecrirthe Lucknow •
' Arena until the conclusion of the 2 hotirpublic skating
• period on any Sunday afternoon. " '
2. The .following public Skating' periods shall be maintained and
•shall not be 'pre-empted by any other activities, except
• under unusual circumstances, or without the approval. and
the concurrence of the Lucknow Arena Operating Com-
• mittee. , • ,
