Report Two car tours to a number of local farms are. planned for next week. The main purpose of these is to give farmers in Bruce and Grey counties an: opportunity to see some of the newer ideas in buildings and equipment for both daily .'and beef cattle, The fust win. be a daily tour on Monday,, December 14th and will start at the farm of Bob Haelzle,; R.R. 2, Teeswater. This farm is located about 21/4 miles north of Belmore on . the Formosa - to - Belmore road. (A similar dairy tour will be held in Grey on this same day, and will start at thefarm. of Rudy Jensen, R.R. 2 Meaford, located on the 7th line . of . St. Vincent.) The second tour on Tuesday, Dec- ember 15th will take in beef -hous- ing units, and will start at : the farm of Clayton Watke, R.R. 1 Carlsruhe. This farmis located a- bout '13/4 miles south . & 2% miles west. of Carlsruhe. Each of the. tours start at the respective farms at 10 a.m. If you're inter- ested in seeing new ideas in dairy & / or beef, jump in your car & join uson the tour (invite your neighbour to come. along too!)
