Unit 5 of the Lucknow United
Church Women met at the home
of Mrs:. Clare ce Bell for their•
Christmas me ting, 29 ladies
were -present with Mrs. Vernon
Hunter as a visitor, . •
Mrs. Bell opened the meeting
with a reading "Suppose".
All committees gave their re-
ports. Members. were.asked to;
bring something for cheerio boxes
to -the General Meeting. .
An invitation by unit 4, was, read
by. Mrs .Bell. They were asking
to have a joint meeting January
5th in the Church. Members,- •
from Unit 5 are to help With"
lunch and prepare devotions.

over to•Mrs..Robt. Nicholls for
the Devotional part of the meet-
ing. ' Hymns were 'sung and Mrs.'
Jack Ackert gave readings•from
different parts of the Bible. Mrs.
Ackert led in prayer . , .A: skit,

then put on. Taking part were.
