Jack McKim complimented Bill Hunter on the efficient man- ner in which he was organizing the Recreation Committee. "I sat on the Recreation Committee a number of -years ago and; it 'was probablythe most useless com- mittee which ever sat in town" , was the comment of ;Mr. McKim. Angus MacLennan said, that he was not familiar with the in- forhation pertaining 'to' the water well which had been drilledand he asked that, it be explained., Reeve Jolnt said: that it had been drilled in 1967•at a cost of $5000 at a point south of the Lucknow Public School but that` the estim- ated stim - ated: cost for: developing it was $19,000' and that council had dec- ided to. postpone this for the present..
