Mrs: Robert H. Thompson, the

died at' Wingham and District Hos;
p'ital on 'August 11th,` her sat
birthday.
Mrs. Thompson; who was affec-
tionately' known'as• Belle to her
rtiany friends, had been ill only .a
week and her death was unexpect-
ed.. On• Thursday , July 30th, '•
members sof her family had staged.
"Open House" for her to mark her
88th birthday . The even^t'was
held a few days early because all

to.be present on that day.

August. 11., 1882; in. Lucknow and

she lived all her life . in the vm1-

Bruce MacKenzie now resides and

She. was predeceased by. her
husband' Robert H. Thompson; -a -
native of Dungannon., : and a
Lucknow resident for .most of his,

mother; Mrs.' William (Frances)

Lucknow. -She. is also survived '`
by a 'sister Miss: Lorna Campbell
of Lucknow , twelve grandchildren
and nine great grandchildren.'
The funeral service was held
at 2 p. m^, on Thursday, August.
13th from the MacKenzie: Metnor-
ial Chapel in.Lucknow conducted •
