Mrs. Tom Magoffin

On Thursday afternoon a sur-
prise party of neighbour• ladies.
'gathered at the home: of Mrs.
•Ezra Scholtz, to honor Mrs. Tom'
Magoffin prior to hex .leaving for

afternoork was •spent playing
cards and crokinole. After a:

Groskorth read an address'to Mrs. •
Magoffin. and Mrs. Albert Coultes
presented.her with a large box
containing the gifts of towels and
blanket carefully packed with
many newspapers. Mrs.•
Magoffin completely taken by..
surprise thanked the ladies for. •
their kindness in remembering
her in this way, -for their gifts •
