Soeiet-y-met. Thursday -evening -for
their regular. monthmeeting
with'a good attendance.
•Preparations' are underway for
another Fair. which well may be
'the last' one if more support
isn't forthcomingfrom the
Village of Lucknow•.and surround-
ing. community
It was generally felt by the
group present that 'the 'Fair could
not -ca -Fry: on-w-ith-as-fe-w-Wor-kers-
•as. were available during -the past
year. •:
Seems to be the one andonly
'big day Lucknow has,, 'and was
the only Centennial celebration
in the Village', .yet there . is very
little co=operation fromthe •vil'-,
lage as a.whole. • •
A meeting is to be held short-
ly, to which all interested • Th Fair is lust three months

The Legion representatives
stated .that their organization had'
projects in mind for the promo-'.
tion of the purchase of hockey.

•run by the village of Lucknow and.
ihe townships of Ashfield and Kin-

There have been, about a .doz.-
en faithful ,people who attend
monthly meetings and do the :
necessary work. These people.
Just cannot carry on and provide
a Fair or homecoming 'w'Ithout •
your help , both financially. and •
ph. sica'lly.
If you want Lucknow .Agricul-

function, then get behind the.

your Fair fo•r it is yours.
