OLD PHONE BOOKSCREATEPROBLEMS
In mid December, the Sentinelinstalled twb• telephone lines : to
better serve the calling public.
• To do this, it 'was: necessary to take a new phone_-,number._We_
left - the change -over until the week the new phone books. , came out to
avoid any: confusion and So that our number would be correctly listed
in the new .phone .books.: ,
All went smoothly but we had . not anticipated' that many sub-
scribers continue to use the old phone' books and: are still using them.
Last -week; Mrs --J m Ritchie---of=Lucknow instateda new tele-
phone and
elephone:and the phone: company gave • herour old number, the one we
discarded last December.
Believe it or not, last week Mrs. Ritchie found herself receiving
classified ads on her ;new number, our old number. For those. of you
who are still- using your old phone : book, throw it out. The -Sentinel -is
listed properlyin.the .new phone •book only and ournumber is 52&2822.
