Potentially -large tax. reductions this year in Wellesley and Wool-
wich townships were preventedby. significant increases in the levies
for education,,;
There are a number of .factors resulting in comparatively lighter
burdens for the cities comparedtothe rural areasof the county,. but.
the main one is provincial policy.
