the sudden passing of John Ewart
Taylor Who died at his home,
Ross Street „ Lucknow on Friday.

Was 71 years of age.

Ewart was born in .Kinloss Town-
ship: on July 10 1898 , on' the • •
farm now owned by Bob Irwin. .
He lived. there. with his' parents.

He was a very.progressive fa`rrri-
er, and in 1928 began milk deliv-
ery in the village :and in 1937 •
erected the pairy Plant , situated•
south of Lucknow .4 Here he in-
stalled ,a pasteurizer plant and.
bottler. He, thus .introduced pas=
.Y-tau-r-iced--mil-k to-tie•-•people-af'
Lucknow. This was known•as
"Fairview. Dairy".. In 1942 he •
sold his business, to Charles Web:
stet and Alex Andrew .but st;i11
supplied the' dairy with milk. In
195'0, 'Mr. ,Taylor sold the-frr�-
