several forwards have been converted to defence -
men until the.present team is regarded by most
hockey fans as being an exceptionally well bal-
anced one with future potential.
In winning the Bantam . D championship,
Lucknow brought home the trophy for the first
time since the 1953-54 ,season' when ,thepresent
team members: were not born. Lucknow also won
this award in the winters of 50-51 and 51-52. Be-
sides their successin regular league play, the' team'
-has: this year won the: Silver :Stick .tournament at

The Bantams have now advanced tO: the Ont-
ario. Minor Hockey Association playoffs where
