There was'a• ' fine attendance present, 30 in• all. The weather was,•cold and stormy, butthe effort was rewarding, not withstanding. Mrs . J. Little presided, and opened with a reading and a prayer. All sang a psalm and r n ivlrs R. Reid gave the Scripture • Reading. Theroll call was : answered by each member repeat.- ing a verse of Scripture, • containing the word •'•'Grace'., • This. was followed with the report , of the last rtieeirig,, given by. Miss• N . Malcolrri, and which was adopted.. It was" stated that,"the '. World Day. of Prayer" will,be held' ori,March 6th. The collection •was taken, after which Glad Tidings Current Events was presented' by Mrs,. Noble•jolnston:: Hymn' 399 • • "T a Mission Stud • was given by Mrs. Morgan -•' en erson, in the absence -of -Mrs: R. McMillan.. The. meeting was of a two -fold nature, Miss Christena Carrick, a long ,time member of the Society, was honored for her faithfulness to the Society, and. her church. MacDonaldhad honor of presenting a k Life Membership to one of our faithful members, Mrs. Ted Colly'r who replied' fittingly. Mrs. Douglas, Graham .had charge of.the Prayer Circle and Hostess and'D irectors served lunch. • New elders elected for a six year term were Lloyd :Wylds .: and Murray MacDonald';, Earl Lohnes was appointed for a.' two year term to replace Wm. Harris: .Douglas MacDonald was appointed to the Board of ' Stewards for a 'three year term, Auditors appointed were Wm ,..
